LOTRO, Secret World, & Rift with an End-Game View
Open Question to my Readers
As we come to the end of the year, I’m starting to think about what I want to do next year and formulate a road-map going forward. Certainly I have a number of things going with my work over on TGN-Stratics, TOR Reporter, and here but I’m actually thinking of taking on more and becoming a bit more structured.
With all the changes lately with the game and the community, as well as the upcoming end-game changes I’m actually toying with the idea of starting up a PvE focused end-game podcast. There’s a number of good podcasts already out there but most are either general in nature or more PvP focused so I think there’s a gap that I could fill brining in some of my various friends as guests, such that you’re not subjected to me rambling along.
I’ve put up a poll on the right side-bar, so please take a moment and let me know what your preference is for duration and whether this is even a good idea. And if your answer isn’t there, feel free to comment on this post or shoot me a message in private.
Let me know what you think and especially if I’m way off base but its something I enjoy talking about and haven’t quite found anything that fits that niche.

While there are many good podcasts, there are already quite many and guess what… usually I end up listening to none.
But reading your blog during breaks was always great fun and often a very useful source of information.
You have two pages and your personal blog. You might spread yourself dangerously thin and succumb to overwork, when fun becomes a duty.
I can understand that there is sometimes a desire to -literally- talk about things rather than writing about them.Guides, Q&A – all these things seem to be the perfect article for Stratics. Interviews, news – LOTRO Reporter. Your personal blog for your personal LOTRO prowess and thoughts, like what you are doing with your Champion at the moment.

I have to agree with Longasc. I enjoy reading more than I do listening. I try and listen to CSTM class roundtables, and their developer interviers, but that is about it. For the most part I like to read.
I really have appreciated the gear comparisions that you have produced. I would love to see more of that type of post.
But my advice to you is to do what you find the most pleasure in, and not what we think. If it is not fun for you it will slowly wither.

Like most people, I enjoy reading all your stuff, however, recently I started to listen to some of these podcasts. CSTM and Dunedain seem to be weekly shows and tend to be either informative and/or fun. At work I can’t really sit and read blogs but I can listen to podcasts which help get me through some of the rough days. Internet radio gets too repetitive after a week and these shows tend to bring something fresh to my ears.
In the end, do what you feel will be best for you. Have fun and don’t burn yourself out.
